“The Best We May Ever Have Been Offered”
N.G. Mulvihill wrote the Des Moines Register a letter to express his/her support for Governor Richardson.
I had the opportunity to see Bill Richardson, the Democratic candidate for president, speak at Drake. I was so impressed I attended the opening of his campaign office.
This is a rare man of integrity and honesty. Everyone needs to look at this guy and listen to what he has to say; he speaks with such sincerity and truthfulness. His answers to so many of the issues that the candidates are talking about are just common sense and his experience may be the best that any candidate has ever had for this office.
He is the real deal. He is what we all say we want. When people say they can’t believe “these candidates are the best America has to offer,” I’m telling you, this man is the best we may ever have been offered. [emphasis mine]
