Obama on the Move
One thing I thought we’d see with this never ending primary cycle was the bursting of the inevitability bubble.
Talk to any Democrat, and chances are they are not convinced of the inevitability of anything. We, as people who have bottomed out and gotten a dose of common sense generally do, take very little for granted. We don’t subscribe to the mantra that if you say something enough times, why golly gee, it must be true.
The inevitability of Hillary was something the wingers like, because it rallies their base nicely, but I never had a conversation with a Dem who said it. Certainly she has her supporters, but she’s got mechanized support, not the voices of the many. Not necessarily the roots, but the average Dem who will go in on Primary day and vote for the one they like the best.
The Machine is nice for raising money, but the net money is more telling. This is where Obama is kicking ass. He has broader appeal to Joe/Jane America. When they send $25 bucks to a candidate because they believe that person is best, that’s $25 bucks that could have been a movie, or school shoes, or a dental co-pay. It represents more than belief, it represents a small sacrifice.
There’s a new round of polls out on Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. Obama is on the move.

Romney 26 (-1)
F. Thompson 13 (+3)
McCain 10 (-11)
Undecided 13 (-1)South Carolina
Democrats
Obama 33 (+12 vs. last poll in June)
Clinton 29 (-8)
Edwards 18 (-4)
Undecided 12 (+1)Republicans

Is this anymore inevitable than Hillary being a shoo-in? Nope, and I think Obama would be the first to say so. This is, however, a snapshot of right now, and my two cents is that Hillary is just starting to see her horserace. She’d better saddle up.

Obama’s on the move alright, right out of the nomination for President. Last week, this dolt said he wouldn’t have a problem meeting, without conditions, some of the worst scum on this planet (Castro, Assad, Hitler…I mean, Ahmadinejad). The Hillary-beast nails him correctly by calling him naive. So how does Obama show how he’s now a tough guy and not naive? He wants to pull troops out of Iraq, but not to send them home. He wants to send them to Pakistan.
Not only is Obama naive and not tough, he’s a pandering idiot.
