Voter challenging Indiana Voter ID law registered in two states
thus proving that voter ID laws are needed. Heh! I love it when they’re stupid. She may have broken the law, committing a third degree felony by registering to vote in two states and falsifying information on her registration form.
That’s a no-no. She claims that she knows many people who have done the same thing…thus making the case for Voter ID laws all the stronger.
This third degree felon feels that she’s the victim here. Great defense. Tell it to the judge!
Her experience has been pointed to by critics of the law because she didn’t have a valid ID on last election day. It took her four hours to obtain hers. Horrors. Wait…She was able to obtain a valid ID in four hours? On the day of the election?
So what’s the problem? Not only does she not prove that the law is bad and that the law is good, she also proves that obtaining a valid ID is not prohibitively difficult and therefore disenfranchises no one who is willing to do what the law requires, preferably ahead of election day.
